Clients I have worked with

One client who came with back pain was surprised to find a substantial improvement by the end of the first session. This improvement continued with subsequent treatments and the pain has not recurred.

A woman with chronic fatigue syndrome was so weak when she came to me that she had to use a chairlift to go upstairs in her house. She now cycles to my house for treatments, and attributes much of this improvement to the Shiatsu.

A young man I am currently treating for Repetitive Strain Injury in his arms has just begun to play his guitar again.

A senior engineering consultant was experiencing exhaustion: after a few weekly treatments he felt his vitality return.

A young woman who was trying to get pregnant was concerned about palpitations she was experiencing. Shortly after I started treating her she conceived and within a few more weeks the palpitations disappeared. I continued to treat her throughout the pregnancy which was straightforward and problem free.

A man came to me with extreme anxiety and an underlying lack of self confidence. He benefitted from the shiatsu to the extent that after some months he had the confidence to apply for a more suitable job. His application was successful.

What my clients have to say

Dr Zamin Iqbal
Shiatsu with Sian Marian has been a big component in my recovery from RSI. I think it's a good thing to do just for your general well-being.

Sue O'Mahony
Shiatsu is very helpful. It balances me out when I'm stressed and all over the place!

Dr. Marjorie Winter (mathematician)
In over five years of dealing with an undiagnosed neuromuscular problem, shiatsu has provided helpful practical therapy in the best tradition of complementary medicine. It is independent both of high-technology and the need for western diagnosis, and is entirely non-invasive. I have used it to good effect while taking Western medicine as well. It has provided surprisingly effective relief from muscle aches and cramps, headaches, numbness and even tight chest and stomach problems. Even had it had no effect whatsoever on the current problems, I could recommend the experience for its effectiveness at reducing tension and promoting a sense of well-being - every time.

Jenny Henderson
I really feel shiatsu has an effect on me. I find it hard to put into words quite what it is but I find I want to keep coming.

Peter Joseph (charity director)
In the course of my work I do quite a lot of travelling, especially by air. I have suffered from various ailments arising from this lifestyle - insomnia, poor digestion, chronic colds and mental anxiety. I find that shiatsu treatments definitely help alleviate these illnesses in the longer term, and I always feel better immediately after a session.
