Sian Marian MRSS(T), PhD

Sian Marian came to Cambridge in 1976 to study mathematics at post-graduate level. After completing her PhD, she went on to do post-doctoral work at the University of California, Berkeley, and in 1984 returned to Cambridge, where she took up a fellowship at Trinity College. She subsequently went on to study Shiatsu.

Sian is a graduate of the British School of Shiatsu and has done postgraduate work with the Shiatsu College, Norwich. As a registered Shiatsu practitioner and registered teacher of Shiatsu, she has taught numerous beginners' and intermediate courses in Cambridge as well as teaching on the professional training course run by the Shiatsu College. Sian has had a thriving Shiatsu practice in Cambridge since 1987 and has also completed two years of counselling training with the Cambridge Consultancy for Counselling.
